This chronic inflammatory disease causes painful abscesses and lesions under the skin, making every movement uncomfortable. Over time, it can lead to scarring, persistent pain and a reduction in your quality of life.

Our new clinical study could give you access to an innovative experimental treatment, aimed at possibly reducing inflammation, relieving pain and reducing the occurrence of abscesses.

Who is eligible?

We invite individuals to participate who:

- Are 18 years of age or older

- Have been diagnosed with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) for at least 6 months

How does it work?

Pre-registration: Begin by completing our online pre-registration form to help us determine if you may be eligible.

Initial Assessment: If you are deemed pre-eligible, you will be invited to come to our center for a detailed assessment if the study details are agreed upon.

Participation: Once your eligibility is confirmed, you will receive all the information required to begin your participation in this study.

The study process in pictures

Explanation

Step 1 | Before starting the study, we will take time to fully explain the selection process and the conduct of the study by phone.

Meeting

Step 2 | After the initial phone interview, if you are still interested in taking part in a study, we schedule a preliminary meeting with you during which you may ask all the questions you wish and take the time you require to read over the consent form. This form explains, in detail, the different stages of each study.

Decision

Step 3 | You may make a decision at that time to move forward with or terminate the selection process. However, you are under no obligation to make an immediate decision. Based on briefing content, you may take the time necessary to come to a decision and consult with your personal physician or loved ones.

Tests

Step 4 | Depending on the nature of the study, some tests or medical examinations may be required. In the majority of cases, these tests or examinations are conducted on Diex Research premises based on your individual availability.

Departure

Step 5 | If you are eligible, you may then begin a clinical study with us.
