The pneumococcal vaccine prevents infections caused by the bacteria Streptococcus pneumoniae, which can cause pneumonia, meningitis and ear infections, especially in people with weakened immune systems.

Vaccines work by stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies against the bacteria.

The clinical study is conducted to evaluate the efficacy and safety of this pneumococcal vaccine in people with system weakened by various health problems.

To this end, it is important to participate in clinical studies like this one to help improve public health and protect individuals with an immune system at greater risk of contracting pneumococcus.

To participate, you must:

Be between 18 and 64 years old
Have a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes or asthma or chronic heart disease or chronic kidney disease or COPD

You will be reimbursed for expenses related to the study during your participation and you will be surrounded by a medical team throughout the process.

Step 4 | Depending on the nature of the study, some tests or medical examinations may be required. In the majority of cases, these tests or examinations are conducted on Diex Research premises based on your individual availability.
