Are you having difficulty losing weight?
You are not alone.
For many people, despite their efforts, weight can remain difficult to control.
Diex Recherche is currently recruiting adults living with overweight or obesity to participate in a clinical study on weight management. Learning more about this study does not obligate you to anything.
The study's objective
This study aims to evaluate an investigational weight management treatment and to better understand its potential impact on:
- weight management
- certain metabolic parameters
- body composition
Who can participate?
You may be eligible if you:
- are 18 years of age or older
AND
- have a BMI ≥ 30
OR
- have a BMI ≥ 27 with a co-occurring condition
such as:
- hypertension
- dyslipidemia
- sleep apnea
- cardiovascular disease
What participation includes:
- Structured study-related medical follow-up
- No cost medical assessments
- Possible compensation according to the protocol
- Mentoring by a research team
Your safety
All studies at Diex Recherche:
- are reviewed by an ethics committee
- follow strict medical protocols
- include detailed informed consent

The study process in pictures
Explanation
Step 1 | Before starting the study, we will take time to fully explain the selection process and the conduct of the study by phone.
Meeting
Step 2 | After the initial phone interview, if you are still interested in taking part in a study, we schedule a preliminary meeting with you during which you may ask all the questions you wish and take the time you require to read over the consent form. This form explains, in detail, the different stages of each study.
Decision
Step 3 | You may make a decision at that time to move forward with or terminate the selection process. However, you are under no obligation to make an immediate decision. Based on briefing content, you may take the time necessary to come to a decision and consult with your personal physician or loved ones.
Tests
Step 4 | Depending on the nature of the study, some tests or medical examinations may be required. In the majority of cases, these tests or examinations are conducted on Diex Research premises based on your individual availability.
Departure
Step 5 | If you are eligible, you may then begin a clinical study with us.
